After the overall success of Dozer's now-classic Super Mario Brothers Throwdown at [link] We've decided it's not enough. As such, I have suggested to him the running of a new contest to follow up the madness:

The LEGEND OF ZELDA TEAM THROWDOWN!

The rules are different this time. First off, this will be a team battle. Teams of TWO, no more, no less, are required. So everybody grab a partner and PM either Dozer or myself, telling us of your alliance. You'll have to register at the forum if you haven't already, naturally. We don't want a thread full of confusion over 'who's my partner?'.

Secondly, as this is a battle, we want to see just that. No 'stand-around pinups'. You've gotta give us an ACTION SHOT. Battle pics are encouraged.

Finally, yes, creative liberty is permitted, but Link and any other characters depicted MUST be completely recognizable.

You have your orders. Everyone grab a friend and churn out some fucking killer art. Deadline is around February 2oo5. Go.
